Swastik College the School of Computer Science and Application was founded in 2013. It is running B.Sc.CSIT and BCA programs of Tribhuvan University. The College building is located at Chardobato, Bhaktapur. Bachelor in Computer Application is four years eight semesters program which comprise computer applications, quantitative, management and social science courses in one BCA program.
To apply for BCA program at Swastik College students must successfully complete twelve year of schooling in any discipline or equivalent from any University, board or institution which have been recognized by Tribhuvan University. The students must have secured minimum second division and D+ grade in all the subjects. In the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University students must have secured pass marks to get admission at Swastik College.
BCA program also has internship and project works which should be submitted in the partial fulfillment of the program in Tribhuvan University. Graduates can join Masters program like MCA, MBA or choose wide range of career opportunities as programmers, system analyst, database administrators etc with BCA degree of TU from Swastik College, Chardobato Bhaktapur.
