St. Lawrence College is located in Chabahil, Pipalbot of Kathmandu City. It is a learning center for intermediate, bachelors and Masters level programs.Currently St. Lawrence College is running B.Sc.CSIT, B.A, B.S.W., BBS,BCA and MBS programs of Tribhuvan University Kirtipur. It was established in the year 1997 A.D.
BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) is a four year eight semesters academic program of Tribhuvan University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The BCA program is about theory, design, programming and application of Computers. It provides creative and analytical insights to the students for technological problem solving.
St. Lawrence College has excellent academic environment, well equipped computer labs and digital labs, education tour at related places, career counselling advisers, workshop and professional skill development course, technical research and presentation for students holistic learning and development.
Students scoring CGPA 2.O in any streams at Plus2 and CGPA 2.0 and above can apply for BCA program of Tribhuvan University. Those waiting for supplementary exam results can also apply. They have to secure minimum 35 percent marks in admission test of Tribhuvan University to secure spot for admission at St. Lawrence College.
BCA program consist of core computer applications courses, elective courses, mathematical and statistical courses, language courses, social science and management courses, electives and project works. Lastly students must do internship at a Company and sumbit report for evaluation in partial fulfillment of program.
