Sungava College is located at Khairahani, Parsa Chitwan. It is known for providing world class Management and Technical Education in the heart of eastern Chitwan. The programs available at Sungava College are Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor in Computer Science and Information Technology (BSc.CSIT), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) of Tribhuvan University and Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) of Tribhuvan University.
BCA program is a technical and professional degree. It aims in learning fundamentals of Information Technology, methodological and implementation issues of IT related subjects. It was launched in the year 2074-75 B.S. and relatively new in Tribhuvan University.
To be eligible for BCA program students must have minimum D grade in 11 and 12. The total CGPA should be 2.0 and above and 45 percent second division marks in PCL or Plus 2 in any stream recognized by Tribhuvan University.Students waiting for supplementary exam results of 12 can also apply.
Students can also pursue higher education such as MCA, MIT, MBA after completion of BCA. It is a interdisciplinary subject of Management and Information technology. Some of the job positions filled by BCA graduates are Computer and Information System Managers, Software developers, Program Coordinators, Back edn officer, IT officer, Network and Computer System administrators. BCA also requires project work presentation and internship report to be submitted in the partial fulfillment of BCA program of Tribhuvan University.
