It was established in the year 1988 with the intention of providing holistic knowledge and producing abled skilled and professional manpower which our Country needs. This College is providing programs like MBS, BBS, BSW, BCA, BA of Tribhuvan University.Bachelor of Computer Application is a four years eight semesters academic program launched by Tribhuvan University in the year 2074-75 B.S. Students who wants to join BCA program at Kathmandu College of Central State must have secured minimum 40 percent with C grade in 10+2 or equivalent examinations recognized by Tribhuvan University. Students from any stream can join BCA program The admission forms are also available online on the College’s website.
The BCA program has electives, internships and project works in fourth and sixth semester besides fundamental course to make students equipped on practical knowledge and skills so that they can become the manpower of flourishing IT companies in government and private sector and earning a living here in Nepal.
The graduates can fill in job positions as system analyst, system managers, project managers, database administrators, system designers and programmers. If they want to study further they can join MCA , MIT and MBA programs as BCA is a interdisciplinary subject between Management and Information Technology.
