Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology is affiliated to Tribhuvan University. IT was founded by group of IT Professionals in 2011 to provide excellence in IT Education. It conducts Bachelors course BSc.CSIT, BCA in an environment of intellectuals, faculty members, staffs and students that encourage and supports students in their quest for deep understanding about nitty gritties of technology.
Bachelor of Computer Application is a four year undergraduate degree course that runs on semester system. It provides knowledge of computer applications and programming along with Management and Social Science to know the set-up of modern business world in our society. It instills the skills sought by the employers such as practical problem solving, communication skills, computing, analytical abilities required for the diversity of IT industries in the current scenario.
For eligibility, students must have completed Plus 2 or equivalent from University, board or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University with minimum 40 percent marks or D+ grade or 2.0 CGPA. The candidates must pass the entrance exam conducted by Dean Office of Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Tribhuvan University.
Students are also assisted for job placements by the Training and Placement Unit of Sagarmatha College of Science and Technology.
