Nepathya College is located at Janakinagar, Rupandehi. It is known for IT based education which run and managed by IT professionals. The College has 22 professional staffs, 205 students enrolled, 14 fully air conditioned rooms, 3 modern computer and network labs. The College offers B.Sc.CSIT courses, BCA and CA courses.Nepathya College is affiliated to Tribhuvan University.
BCA (Bachelor in Computer Application) is a four years eight semesters academic program of Tribhuvan University Faculty of Humanities and Social Science. This program creates skillful computer application users for software, manufacturing and IT Companies. The degree is recognized worldwide. Nepathya College has tie up with nine software companies to enrich students experience with practical knowledge. The shareholders are employees of IT industries like Apple, oracle, google, Samsung, XL Catin etc. and will add global exposure and do grooming for BCA students to survive the competition and dynamics of IT Companies on a global scale.
The procedure for admission for BCA program is first filling up entrance form taken by Tribhuvan University which is also available at College. Then submitting the form before the admission test on a specified date. Then the candidates have to pass entrance test and only successful candidates who pass entrance examination will get chance for admission at Nepathya College BCA program.
Students who have completed Plus 2 or equivalent with D+ in each subjects and CGPA 2.0 and above are eligible for admission. Students who have passed intermediate in any discipline with minimum 40 percent marks can also apply.
The College also has intranet server for students’ project development. It is the only College that use Moodle based teaching practice.
