National College of Computer Studies NCCS was established in the year 1999 and affiliated to Tribhuvan University of Nepal. It is at Paknajol, Kathmandu. The College offers Bachelors level programs such as B.I.M. Bachelor in Information Management, BHM Bachelor of Hotel Management, B.Sc.CSIT Bachelor in Science in Computer Science and Information technology, B.C.A Bachelor of Computer Application.
Bachelor of Computer Application is a course about Computer applications that is in demand where students can make their career base in Information Technology. The program is spread for four years with eight semesters where students learn theory and gain practical knowledge to solve computer based problems of different industries at government and private sectors. It provides knowledge of tools and techniques used in software development. It also helps to enhance skill of students to create solution for technical problems that arise in industrial, commercial and government companies.
For admissions, students who have completed Plus2, PCL, A level from any faculty with minimum 2 CGPA and not less than D+ in each subject can apply for BCA at National College of Computer Studies. BCA graduates can become software developers, system analyst, IT officer, database administrators, content writers , lecturers etc.
