Nesfield International College at Lagankhel Lalitpur has been providing quality education to produce qualified dedicated human resource since its inception. BCA program was launched in the year 2074/75. It is a four year program of Tribhuvan University. Students who have cleared Plus 2 or equivalent with 40 percent marks or 2 CGPA are eligible to get admission for BCA program.
The studies of BCA program are segregation of core courses, elective courses, mathematical and statistical courses, language courses, social science and management courses, project and internships during the four years academic program divided into eight semesters. BCA program is run by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science department of Tribhuvan University. BCA graduates have wide range of career opportunities in the field of computer science and Information and Technology. They can fill in various levels of jobs for government and private sectors of the Country. They are able to solve the problems as system analysts, system managers, project managers, database administrators, system designers, programmers in IT Company.
BCA in job sector also yields attractive salary packages as technicians. Besides, BCA graduates can also pursue different fields of study and specialization in Masters level such as Master of Computer Application (MCA), Master of Information Technology(MIT), Master of Business Administration (MBA) due to inter connectivity of Management and IT sector and be able to handle computer operations which is the heart of any business enterprise.
