Butwal Kalika Campus is located at Kalikanagar, Butwal. It was established in 2070 B.S. It is providing Bachelors level programs BBS (Bachelors of Business Studies) and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) of Tribhuvan University.
Bachelor of Computer Application(BCA) is four years eight semesters program of Tribhuvan University. It comes under the umbrella of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences T.U. The course provides knowledge and skills about computing, programming, software development along with Management and social science subjects to solve computer problems of Information technology sectors, companies and manufacturing industries in the digital age.The total study is 126 credit hours which consist of 3 project works, 4 electives and internship along with basic courses for the successful completion of BCA program.
Students who have completed Plus 2, PCL or equivalent in any stream with minimum D+ in all subjects and secured second division marks or 2.0 CGPA and above can apply for BCA program at Butwal Kalika Campus. The job prospects are good as system analyst, programmers, IT officers, software developers, back end officers, programmers, content writers, researchers and academicians. Those who want to join Masters level can do as well in MCA, MIT, MBA. For admission students must pass the entrance exam conducted by Tribhuvan University.
