D.A.V College is the pseudonym for Dayanando Angelo Vedic College. It was established with the mission of providing internationally acclaimed quality education to the students.It is an institution run by a team of professional and scholars with well equipped libraries, a fully scientific e-library, a well modernized research lab facility equipped with latest technology. It is running Bachelors courses such as B.Sc.Microbiology, B.Sc. Physics, Bachelor of Computer Application.
BCA is a four years,eight semesters program under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Science of Tribhuvan University. It aims to produce high quality computer application users and developers.Students who have finished intermediate level or Plus 2 or equivalent from any recognized board with second division marks 45% is eligible for studying BCA program at D.A.V College.
The entrance test will be conducted by Dean’s Office from T.U. and to secure admission the students have to submit the forms and pass the entrance exam test.The entrance test will be English 40 percent, Mathematics 50 percent and General Knowledge 10 percent. The Spring semester begins on February and fall semester from September every year.
BCA graduates can get job opportunities in IT, Manufacturing and service industries in both government and private sector. They are given handsome salary to sustain their living.
