GP Koirala Memorial College was established in the name of great hero of democratic republic movement. It is running as community college and affiliated to Tribhuvan University in 2013/14 a.d. The highlights of GP Koirala Memorial College are it offers academic programs, research programs, skill development and vocational training, cultural exchange programs, conferences, workshops, seminar, dialogues, lectures, field visits, internship, job placement. It uses multi media technology for teaching and committed to serve for welfare of poor, disabled with scholarships and funding from its own.
The college is running a day shift program for BCA. The program is regulated by Tribhuvan University faculty of humanities and social sciences. It has eight semesters four year course with project work and internship to regulate students learning on theoretical and practical basis and inducting them to real scenario of job markets in Information technology age.
