Koshi St. James College is located at Itahari. It was established in the year 30 May 2012. It promotes the belief of creative learning innovative ideas with culture and characters building environment necessary for personal development. Koshi College has opened BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) program of Tribhuvan University. The graduates can get jobs in different software companies, Information Technology Companies at various job positions such like software developer, programmer, Quality assurance engineer, IT Officer, IT Manager, Program Manager, App developer, Lecturer etc. BCA also opens door to Masters level education degrees MCA, MIT, MSc.IT and MBA after graduation.
The four years BCA program is divided into eight semesters program. Each semester is for 6 months. Students will learn core courses of computer applications, math and statistical courses, language courses, Social science and Management courses and practical work with internship and project work all in 126 credit hours of BCA program.
Students completing intermediate level or higher secondary level in any discipline recognized by Tribhuvan University are eligible to apply. All the applicants entrance exam will be taken by Dean Office of Tribhuvan University. The entrance test will be 40 percent English, 50 percent Mathematics, 10 percent General Knowledge.
