Madan Bhandari Memorial College was founded in 2001 under Madan Bhandari Foundation. This College runs Bachelors and Masters degree courses of Tribhuvan University. The college facilitates towards making modern and scientific education accessible to marginalized and disadvantage groups and communities.
The BCA program is similar to other programs like BSc.CSIT, B.Ed., ICT, BIM Students with 40% marks or 2 CGPA are eligible for admission. Deserving students are provided scholarships on three stages. First at the time of admission, second students’ performance in terminal examinations, regular scholarship to be called by the college. Besides the college also offers three months monthly fee wave to terminal examination class toppers.Â
The entrance test with 40 percent weightage in English, 50 percent mathematics, 10 percent general knowledge and interview for final selection and admission for BCA studies at Madan Bahandari memorial College. The results are based on grading system (credit hours). Minimum 80 percent marks are required to appear for final examinations. Project work and internship report is compulsory along with regular courses for successful completion of BCA course as designed by Tribhuvan University of Kirtipur, Nepal.
