Nepalgunj College is the first Information Technology College in Nepalgunj. This College strives to attract and serve students from diverse economic, social and ethnic background to create peaceful learning environment where students are inspired and empowered to reach their full academic, emotional, spiritual potential. It is providing B.Sc.CSIT and BCA programs of Tribhuvan University.
BCA is a four years semester based program of Tribhuvan University. It provides extensive knowledge in the field of theory, design, programming and application of computers, create analytical and technical skills that provide basis for technical problem solving, knowledge of advanced IT applications used in different sectors, cognition in the field of functional knowledge of hardware system and software system. The program is grouped into eight semesters at Spring and Fall of each year. 1 year is equal to two semesters.
It consist of core courses, natural science elective courses, mathematical courses, english courses, internship and project work of 126 credit hours.
For admissions students must have completed PCL/Plus 2 or equivalent with second division marks or 2 CGPA with D+ in all subjects. They must pass entrance test to qualify for BCA new intake.
