New Summit College is located at Shantinagar gate, Old Baneswor. It has been teaching Plus 2 and Bachelors level programs. The Bachelor of Computer Application program at New Summit College is tied to Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur Nepal. It is a four year eight semesters academic program with theory and practical base.

For eligibility students must have Passed Plus 2 with minimum D grade in all the subjects with CGPA 2.0 for admission. The courses vary from basic computer application courses to mathematical and statistical courses, language courses, social science and management courses along with project work and internships to make students competent in both theoretical and practical education of BCA program. They are able to fill various job positions as project managers, database administrators, system designers and programmers in both government, non government sectors along with private companies. They can also pursue their post graduation in subjects like business administration, computer application, information technology with desired specialization areas that can make them head of Companies job positions with attractive salary and incentives.
