Tinau technical College was established in 2069 B.S. It was commenced with the aim of fostering and foregrounding the academia of Nepal to keep pace with fast changing pattern in computing and meeting the standards of global changes and challenges of modern Computing era. Tinau technical College is running Bachelors level programs such as B.Sc.CSIT, BIM, BCA.
BCA program tied up to Tribhuvan University is four year eight semesters program.It provides both theoritical and practical knowledge related to computer applications and enhance the skills of students to create solutions of technical problems that arise in industries, commercial as well as governmental companies. To be eligible for BCA program students should have successfully completed twelve years of schooling in science stream or equivalent from any University, board or institution recognized by Tribhuvan University. They must have secured D+ grade in 11 and 12 or equivalent. They must pass entrance exam of Tribhuvan University securing 35 percent marks and comply admission procedure of Tinau Technical College.
BCA as technical subject can be suitable for jobs at National Organizations, NGO, Information Technology and Corporate sector at various levels such as Ergonomics Program designers, System Analyst, Project Manager, document specialist, information system auditor, artificial intelligence specialist, technical writer, information system manager, database operator.
