Vedas College is located at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur. It was earlier known as Aberdeen International College. It has been providing excellence in technical and professional education. The College is offering Bachelors level courses such as B.Sc.CSIT, BBM, BBS, BCA and MBS courses of Tribhuvan University.
BCA stands for Bachelor in Computer Application. It is a semester wise program for four years and governed by Faculty of Humanities and Social Science, Tribhuvan University. The main purpose of BCA program is to produce computer users and software developers who have wide range of knowledge in technical field. The course has been designed to make students aware about various tools and techniques in software development, provide theoretical and practical aspects of studies related to computer applications, create base for Masters level such as Masters of Information Technology MIT, Master of Business Administration MBA, Master of Computer Application MCA.
Students who have secured 40 percent marks or C grade in PCL, Plus 2 from any stream can apply for BCA program at Vedas College in affiliation to Tribhuvan University Students have to submit the application form and processing fees before the due date. They have to pass the entrance exam to secure a spot for new intake of BCA program. The Spring semester begins from February and fall semester from September of each year.
